DESCRIPTION
The Series 2000 European Design is an attractive and efficacious addition
to the modern kitchen. It combines style and functionality in an easy
to install countertop filter. The 2000 comes with a patented dual-media
filter cartridge, which removes or reduces most EPA primary contaminants.
Enjoy lead, chlorine and odor-free water when cooking or just drinking,
right from the tap. The included filter has a three (3) year media life
expectancy.
FILTER MEDIA DESCRIPTION
The patented redox media Eaglyte
combines with granular activated coconut shell carbon providing a long life drinking water system.
In the first stage, the Eaglyte media removes or reduces inorganics such as lead and other heavy
metals on the EPA contaminant list, a function which carbon alone cannot do. The Eaglyte also
retards bacteria growth in the filter. In the second stage, volatile organic chemicals such as
TTHM's, chlorine and
organic chemicals, bad taste and
odors are removed by adsorption into the bed of granular activated carbon. Finally, Eaglyte
filtration systems leave in the healthful minerals found in natural spring water.
