DESCRIPTION
Finally, a Countertop Filter with a Full-Sized Undersink cartridge. The
Series 2003 Countertop offers all of the features of our 2030 drinking
water system, but without the undersink plumbing. The 2003 utilizes a
patented media combination that removes or reduces most EPA primary contaminants
so you can enjoy clean water while you cook or for drinking. The included,
easily replaceable three (3) year cartridge adds extra convenience and
requires no tools for installation.
FILTER MEDIA DESCRIPTION
The patented redox media Eaglyte combines
with granular activated coconut shell carbon providing a long life drinking water system. In the first
stage, the Eaglyte media removes or reduces inorganics such as lead and other heavy metals on the EPA
contaminant list, a function which carbon alone cannot do. The Eaglyte also retards bacteria growth in
the filter. In the second stage, volatile organic chemicals such as
TTHM's, chlorine and
organic chemicals, bad taste and odors are
removed by adsorption into the bed of granular activated carbon. Finally, Eaglyte filtration systems
leave in the healthful minerals found in natural spring water.
