PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Series 2012 Undersink and Large Refrigerator Filter is the perfect solution for smaller capacity sinks and faucets as well as large refrigerators equipped with a chilled water dispenser. The 2012 is installed in the plumbing below the sink and provides filtered water through the existing spigot. The patented dual-media filtration removes or reduces most EPA primary contaminants leaving premium lead, chlorine and odor-free water, without the cost and inconvenience of bottled water. The filter media has a 3-year life expectancy.

FILTER MEDIA DESCRIPTION
The patented redox media Eaglyte combines with granular activated coconut shell carbon providing a long life drinking water system. In the first stage, the Eaglyte media removes or reduces inorganics such as lead and other heavy metals on the EPA contaminant list, a function which carbon alone cannot do. The Eaglyte also retards bacteria growth in the filter. In the second stage, volatile organic chemicals such as TTHM's, chlorine and organic chemicals, bad taste and odors are removed by adsorption into the bed of granular activated carbon. Finally, Eaglyte filtration systems leave in the healthful minerals found in natural spring water.
