DESCRIPTION
The Series 2014 Water Cooler Filter is the perfect solution for standard and wall mounted drinking fountains and bottleless
water coolers at the home or office. The 2014 is a compact unit which is installed in the fountain fixture. The filter comes
complete with 3/8" compression elbow and mounting bracket for ease of installation. The patented dual-media filtration removes
or reduces most EPA primary contaminants leaving premium lead, chlorine and odor-free water without the cost and inconvenience
of bottled water.
FILTER MEDIA DESCRIPTION
The patented redox media Eaglyte
combines with granular activated coconut shell carbon providing a long life drinking water system.
In the first stage, the Eaglyte media removes or reduces inorganics such as lead and other heavy
metals on the EPA contaminant list, a function which carbon alone cannot do. The Eaglyte also
retards bacteria growth in the filter. In the second stage, volatile organic chemicals such as
TTHM's, chlorine and
organic chemicals, bad taste and
odors are removed by adsorption into the bed of granular activated carbon. Finally, Eaglyte
filtration systems leave in the healthful minerals found in natural spring water.
