DESCRIPTION
Whole House & Light Commercial filters deliver the same quality water
as the Point-of-Use filters, but supply a larger flow rate. The patented
dual-media filtration removes or reduces most EPA primary contaminants
leaving premium lead, chlorine and odor-free water. The 2000 K series
Filters are available in 6 sizes to meet your particular flow requirements.
The units may be installed in parallel for different flow ratings. They
are typically located outside near the pipe entrance to the structure.
A 5-year warranty is included for the tank. Media life is pro-rata warranted
for 3-years or gallon capacity, whichever comes first. These units can
be piggybacked to other filters to solve individual water contamination
difficulties.
FILTER MEDIA DESCRIPTION
The patented redox media Eaglyte combines with granular
activated coconut shell carbon providing a long life drinking water system. In the first stage, the Eaglyte media
removes or reduces inorganics such as lead and other heavy metals on the EPA contaminant list, a function which
carbon alone cannot do. The Eaglyte also retards bacteria growth in the filter. In the second stage, volatile organic
chemicals such as TTHM's, chlorine and
organic chemicals, bad taste and odors are removed by
adsorption into the bed of granular activated carbon. Finally, Eaglyte filtration systems leave in the healthful
minerals found in natural spring water.
