PRODUCT
DESCRIPTION
The series 3200 group of filters provide specific protection from suspended
solids in incoming raw water. Use as protection for new or existing equipment
and appliances. Pre-filtering for further filtration or ion-exchange is
also available.
FILTER MEDIA DESCRIPTION
The high efficiency filter media removes or reduces sediment down to the
20 to 30 micron range. This media supports higher flow rates than comparable
sizes of sand filters. The media bed is protected from backwash channeling
by an underbed of gravel. Backwashing is automatically initiated by a
clock timer.

- Fleck
control head allows for automatic hands-free backwashing of the filter
bed.
- Gravel
underbed allows for excellent water dispersion on the backwash cycle
to prevent channeling.
- High
sediment removal/reduction capacity allows for substantial savings in
backwash water and time out-of-service.
- Units
can be installed in parallel to allow for even higher flow rates for
commercial and light industrial applications.
