Great tasting water at your fingertips. The Water Solutions Series 2020
Undersink Filter with pre-filter is the perfect solution for all sinks
and faucets. The 2020 is installed below the sink and provides filtered
water through the existing spigot. A 5 micron pre-filter is incorperated
in this system to extend the life of the dual media filter cartridge.
This is useful where there may be some sediment in the water. The patented
dual-media filter cartridge removes or reduces most EPA primary contaminants
leaving premium lead, chlorine and odor-free water, without the cost and
inconvenience of bottled water. The filter media has a three (3) year
life expectancy.
A optional faucet kit is available to provide a dedicated drinking water
source. This feature helps insure against the mixing of the unfiltered
hot water with the filtered cold water in the existing faucet.
FILTER MEDIA DESCRIPTION
The first cartridge is a pre-filter. This element is ideal for fine to
medium sediment removal, including sand, silt, unseen sludge and rust
particles. Eliminating or reducing these contaminants is an economical
means to prevent premature fouling of the dual media cartridge.
In
the second cartridge, the patented redox media Eaglyte
combines with granular activated coconut shell carbon providing a long life drinking water system.
In the first stage, the Eaglyte media removes or reduces inorganics such as lead and other heavy
metals on the EPA contaminant list, a function which carbon alone cannot do. The Eaglyte also
retards bacteria growth in the filter. In the second stage, volatile organic chemicals such as
TTHM's, chlorine and
organic chemicals, bad taste and
odors are removed by adsorption into the bed of granular activated carbon. Finally, Eaglyte
filtration systems leave in the healthful minerals found in natural spring water.
