DESCRIPTION
The Water Solutions Series 2050 Undersink Filter is the perfect solution
for the kitchen sink. The 2050 is installed below the sink and provides
filtered water through the existing spigot. This work horse handles the
larger capacities that may be experienced by larger households, but still
offering a simple do-it-yourself under the sink style housing. The 2050
is almost double the capacity of our popular 2012/2017 filter and offers
a greater flow rate. The patented dual-media filter cartridge removes
or reduces most EPA primary contaminants leaving premium lead, chlorine
and odor-free water, without the cost and inconvenience of bottled water.
The filter media has a three (3) year life expectancy.
FILTER MEDIA DESCRIPTION
The patented redox media Eaglyte combines with
granular activated coconut shell carbon providing a long life drinking water system. In the first stage,
the Eaglyte media removes or reduces inorganics such as lead and other heavy metals on the EPA contaminant
list, a function which carbon alone cannot do. The Eaglyte also retards bacteria growth in the filter. In the
second stage, volatile organic chemicals such as TTHM's,
chlorine and organic chemicals, bad taste and odors are
removed by adsorption into the bed of granular activated carbon. Finally, Eaglyte filtration systems leave in the
healthful minerals found in natural spring water.
