DESCRIPTION
The Water Solutions Series 2160 Undersink Filter is installed below the
sink and provides filtered water through the existing spigot. The 2160
is a larger version of our other similar Undersink products and handles
a flow rate of three (3) gallons per minute. The 2160 is also equipped
with a pre-filter to extend the life of the dual-media bed. The
patented dual-media filter cartridge removes or reduces most EPA primary
contaminants leaving premium lead, chlorine and odor-free water, without
the cost and inconvenience of bottled water. A five (5) year warranty
is included on the tank, while the media life is warrantied, pro-rata,
for three (3) years.
FILTER MEDIA DESCRIPTION
The patented redox media
Eaglyte combines with granular activated coconut shell carbon
providing a long life drinking water system. In the first stage, the Eaglyte media removes or reduces inorganics such as
lead and other heavy metals on the EPA contaminant list, a function which carbon alone cannot do. The Eaglyte also retards
bacteria growth in the filter. In the second stage, volatile organic chemicals such as
TTHM's, chlorine and
organic chemicals, bad taste and odors are removed
by adsorption into the bed of granular activated carbon. Finally, Eaglyte filtration systems leave in the healthful
minerals found in natural spring water.
